Christmas birth, learning the basics
Traditionally, the parents announce the arrival of their newborn. This represents one opportunity in which to escape from tradition. Do you have a favorite family pet? Your baby's birth could be announced by Fred the goldfish or Rover the dog. Are older brothers and sisters present in the family? Having the baby's brothers or sisters announce the birth allows the siblings to get involved in the excitement. You may even choose to have the baby announce his or her own birth.
