Park Ave is a favorite amongst young professionals and college students. Apartments are still reasonable, running at around $500 to $650 a month for a nice one bedroom, and there are studios for even less. There are plenty of shops, delis, and bars in the area, and many of the buildings are, like many places in Rochester NY, history and eye candy all at once. Still, stay open to some other great locations that are less hyped, such as NOTA, or the Neighborhood of the Arts. You could live within walking distance to museums, the ARTWalk, and all at inexpensive rents.
